When you have a lymphatic drainage treatment this can increase the lymphatic fluid up take of between 35 – 40 litres within a 24 – 48 hours period.
Most people report feeling a bit tired, may require frequent toilet visits or are a bit restless when trying to fall asleep after a treatment. It is quite common people experience one of the above-mentioned side effects however, most people’s response to a treatment really does vary according to what is happening in the body and the overall health of the person. Most side effects subside after a few hours. Usually after a few days most patients report feeling lighter, thinking clearer, less swelling, have more energy and reduced levels of stress.
